The Sales and Leasing Consultant
sells and leases new and pre-owned vehicles to meet customer satisfaction
goals, dealership sales and profit.
Qualifications for the Sales and
Leasing Consultant include:
In this fast-track position to management, the ideal
person will work this opportunity as their own business-within-a-business.
Promptly responds to internet inquiries via email and phone to ensure
dealership maximizes profit on internet sales. Outstanding verbal and written communication
skills are the basis for training in low-pressure sales techniques and ability
to bring the customer to the showroom.
Qualifications: Some sales experience, strong communication, organization,
and follow up skills, ability to multi-task, computer skills, solid working
knowledge of the internet and a valid in-state driver's license required.
The Business Development Center is
responsible for scheduling appointments for customers to visit the dealership.
A professional responsible for handling incoming phone inquires and
outbound follow up calls, but no cold calling is team-oriented and dedicated to
growth and development and maximizing opportunities for the dealership.
Extensive training will be provided in appointment setting, building value and
product knowledge for the right candidate that demonstrates the ability to
maximize opportunities for the business.
Qualifications include superior
phone, writing and follow up skills, a self-starter with a focus on customer
satisfaction. She/he is well organized with a fundamental working knowledge of
Microsoft computer applications.
The
Business Manager provides finance and insurance programs to customers of new
and pre-owned vehicles.
Qualifications: College degree or equivalent knowledge of dealership
finance and insurance procedures with 3 plus years in a high volume dealership.
Excellent communication skills, computer knowledge and professional appearance
required.
The
New-Vehicle Sales Manager assists the General Sales Manager in planning,
organizing and measuring the activities of the new-vehicle sales department.
Qualifications: High school diploma or the equivalent; college degree a plus.
Three years of sales experience; supervisory experience required. Strong
coaching and mentoring skills preferred. Excellent communication skills, valid
in-state driver's license and professional appearance required.
The Used Vehicle Manager assists the General
Sales Manager in planning, organizing and measuring the activities of the
used-vehicle sales department. Proven ability to maintain a well-balanced
used-vehicle inventory; conduct appraisals, display and merchandising of
pre-owned vehicles.
Minimum Qualifications include:

The
Service Manager runs an efficient and profitable service department. She/he
must operate the department at maximum production, control costs, build a loyal
clientele, maintain good employee relationships, set and reach sales and profit
objectives and maintain service records.
Qualifications: Five years experience in an auto repair facility with three
years in a supervisory capacity. Professional certification from the National
Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) preferred and Reynolds &
Reynolds a plus. Excellent communication, supervisory, managerial skills and a
high school diploma or equivalent required.
The Service
Advisor schedules service work and suggests additional work needed to
customers.
Qualifications: Two years experience in a dealership position with general
knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations. Excellent oral and written
communication skills, professional certification from the National Institute
for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), and some sales experience preferred.
Reynolds and Reynolds a plus, high school diploma or the equivalent and professional
appearance required.
The Service
Technician will perform vehicle repair and maintenance work to meet customer,
dealership and factory standards. She/he may oversee the work of apprentice
technicians.
Qualifications: High school diploma or the equivalent. Professional
certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence
(ASE) preferred. Manual dexterity, mechanical ability, good judgment, valid
driver's license and good driving record required.

The
Parts Manager must run a profitable and efficient parts department through
proper procedures in purchasing, inventory control, staffing, security,
pricing, merchandising, and advertising. Training will be provided on the
dealership's computer system.
Qualifications: Ability to operate the department profitably within dealerships
guidelines, one year automotive parts experience and one year of supervisory
experience, and professional appearance required. Reynolds and Reynolds a plus,
and high school diploma or the equivalent is required.
The Parts
Counter person sells parts to customers over the counter, through the shop or
on the phone and works closely with service technicians in providing parts for
vehicle repairs in service department.
Qualifications: One year of experience in an automotive parts department and
one year of sales experience and the ability to work well with the public,
sometimes with several customers at a time. Professional appearance and high
school diploma or the equivalent required.
The Parts
Driver delivers and picks up parts equipment for the dealership. She/he will be
trained on parts department's computer inventory system.
Qualifications: Ability to use computer and calculator, drive and operate a
fork lift safely, communicate with customers, vendors and other contacts
required. Position requires valid driver's license, a good driving record and a
professional appearance.

The
Body Shop Manager develops business through insurance adjusters, customers and
other sources to reach dealership sales and customer satisfaction goals. She/he
supervises body shop personnel in performing body repairs, including meeting
time schedules and productivity levels and maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications: Excellent communication and managerial skills, two years
experience in an auto body repair facility, a working knowledge of body repair
methods and one year of supervisory experience required.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of all aspects of automotive refinishing and a minimum 5
years experience.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of all aspects of auto body repair, including Heavy Collision
and Frame Repair. Minimum 5 years experience required.
This
talented individual handles registration of new and used cars in very busy
dealerships. Experience with DMV guidelines a big plus.
Qualifications: Two years of general office experience. Automotive accounting
experience preferred.
The
Warranty Clerk prepares, records, and reconciles warranty claims and submits
them to the factory and distributors.
Qualifications: Two years of experience in a general office position. Some
knowledge of automotive parts and experience with Reynolds and Reynolds a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, use computer,
calculator, microfiche machines, and reading vendor catalogs required.
The
Title/Billing Clerk processes sales transactions, verifies information for
accounting and prepares legal transfer documents for the state department of
motor vehicles.
Qualifications:
Two years of general office experience. Automotive accounting experience a
plus.
The
Cashier receives payment from customers and employees and accurately records
the amount received. She/he must
represent the dealership in friendly, professional manner. The right candidate
will be trained on dealership computer systems, cash register and other office
machines.
Qualifications: One year experience operating a cash register, ability to work
well with customers and professional appearance. This position may be combined
with the Receptionist position in some dealerships.
The New
Vehicle Lot Attendant verifies receipt of new vehicles delivered to the
dealership and parks vehicles in the new-vehicle lot in a safe an orderly
manner.
Qualifications: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, good judgment,
valid driver's license and a good driving record required.
The
Used-Vehicle Lot Attendant moves customer and company stock vehicles,
handles small deliveries between the dealership and corporate offices and other
duties as required.
Qualifications: One year experience in the automotive field. Valid in-state
driver's license, good driving record, good judgment and neat appearance
required. Verifiable work history may substitute for auto experience.
The
Receptionist answers and routes incoming calls, provides basic information to
callers, and promptly delivers accurate, thorough messages. She/he is the
dealership's front-line contact with the public and always represents the
dealership in a professional and friendly manner.
Qualifications:
Must speak clearly on the telephone and present a professional, competent image
to callers and present a professional appearance. This position may be combined
with the Cashier position in some dealerships.
The Shop
Custodian maintains a safe, clean working environment for all dealership
employees and customers.
Qualifications: Neat appearance and stable work history required.
